Calculating pH of a Nitric Oxide Solution without Ka Value?
In this problem, since no specific data is given, I assume the standard conditions. pH = -ln[H] You already know the concentration (4.5x10-8 + 10-7)M Just substitute and get the logarithm.- aniketp

How Do You Determine the Mass of the Second Object in an Elastic Collision?
It would be wiser to use the co-effecient of restitution here. The energy equation gets tedious. ;)- aniketp

Projectile Motion: Height of Second Building in Bag of Mail Catapult Experiment
Make sure of what you are taking as the origin. If the point of launch is the origin, then you will have to take into consideration the height of the first building.- aniketp

Projectile Motion: Height of Second Building in Bag of Mail Catapult Experiment
See, you know the equation of the path of the projectile. You also know the horizontal distance (x-coordinate) of the top of the building wrt the point of launch. Substitute in the projectile equation to get the reqd Y co-ordinate.- aniketp

Undergrad Resistance of a loop of wire: confusing
I guess you could do it (find the resistivity) by introducing an ammeter at the resistance of length L (I mean the part of the loop of length L). Applying Kirchoff's Loop Law, we see that P.D across the EMF source is equal to the PD across the Resistance of length "L". Thus , E = i*R The "R" we...- aniketp

Undergrad Resistance of a loop of wire: confusing
This i guess is the net result, which is to be used in plotting the graph to find out the resistance EDIT: at the risk of sounding stupid, what is not quite the same thing??- aniketp

Undergrad Resistance of a loop of wire: confusing
I have simplified the circuit here. (forgive me, I am bad at paint ;)) Let the net resistance be Rnet (Rnet)-1 = (R1)-1 + (R2)-1 The net resistance will thus change if R1 and R2 change, though the sum remains constant. R1 and R2 change with the length as R is proportional to L.- aniketp
