What should I look for when shopping for a router?
If my dad is connected to the cable modem, you should have the wireless router? Is there something else you would need as well? You mentioned a wireless card.- APool555

Understanding Predator-Prey Systems with HPGSystemSolver
I tried reading some of the examples in my textbook(Differental Equations by Paul Blanchard), and I ended up confusing myself more than anything else. Here's the problem: dR/dt= 2R(1-R/2.5)-1.5RF dF/dt= -F+0.8RF Sketch the R(t) and F(t) graphs for the solutions with initial points A,B,C...- APool555

What is the max volume given certain restrictions?
I can't believe I can't even set this problem up. Maybe the girth is bothering me and I can not see something. Anyways I need to find the max volume with these restrictions: Max Length = 42 in. Max Length + Girth = 79 in Thanks for your help.- APool555

Why do crystal glasses shatter when hot liquid is poured into them?
My teacher was telling me how when you pour a hot liquid into a crystal glass that it will shatter. This is due to the transfer of heat, which speeds up the molecules in the cup. But air had something to do with it and I can not remember what. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks.- APool555

Bernoulli's Principle of a pipe
Two unknowns? There is V1 and V2 in the Bernoulli's equation. Then there is rate. Or am I doing something wrong? In the second problem when you say p=0, that's the density, correct? If so, then what is P1 and P2?- APool555

Bernoulli's Principle of a pipe
I have two problems that I can not figure out. Thanks for your help. Problem #1: A horizontal pipe 10.0 cm in diameter has a smooth reduction to a pipe 5.00 cm in diameter. If the pressure of the water in the larger pipe is 8.00 x 10^4 Pa and the pressure in the smaller pipe is 6.00 x 10^4...- APool555

What is the Buoyant Force on a Submerged Ping-Pong Ball?
My professor briefly went over Archimede's principle and assigned some problems on it. I do not know how to attack it. Here's the first problem he gave: A Ping-Pong ball has a diameter of 3.80 cm and average density of 0.084 g/cm^3. What force is required to hold it completely submerged in water?- APool555

How Do You Calculate Torque in a Fishing Pole Scenario?
We just started torque and our teacher gave us some problems but we didn't do any examples. I have no idea where to start. Thanks for your help. The fishing pole in Figure P10.30(i drew a picture of it) makes an angle of 20 degrees with the horizontal. What is the torque exerted by the fish...- APool555
