Graduate Is the Constancy of Light in Vacuum a Proof or a Postulate?
I would add that Lorentz came up with the right equations, Lorentz transform. But his interpretation of the contraction is very different from that of Einstein's.- ardenmann0

Graduate CERN team claims measurement of neutrino speed >c
So you think it's just minor significance. Then how do you explain this: http://news.yahoo.com/faulty-wire-error-blamed-faster-light-particles-233455932.html "After tightening the connection and then measuring the time it takes data to travel the length of the fibre, researchers found...- ardenmann0

Graduate Is the Hydrogen Atom Stable in Relativistic Quantum Theory?
The electrostatic force can act on the electron as in the Bohr model, but not on the wavefunction which is not a point particle. That's why there is no force in the non-relativistic Schroedinger's equation- ardenmann0

Graduate Interpretations of Quantum Mechanics (is there a general consensus?)
If it doesn't represent a real field, how can it interfere with itself in the double slit experiment? We can't detect gravitational waves right now, but it does not mean they do not exist. It just mean our instruments are not sensitive enough to detect them directly right now.- ardenmann0

Graduate Interpretations of Quantum Mechanics (is there a general consensus?)
Gell-Mann once wrote, ‘Bohr brainwashed a whole generation of physicists into ‘believing' the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics'.- ardenmann0
