Maximizing the Sum of Two Numbers: An Algebraic Solution
Homework Statement find two numbers whose sum is 20 and whose product is a maximum. Homework Equations the first number is X the second number is 20-x 3. The solution X(20-X)=0 -X^2+ 20x=0 x=-b/2a = -20/2(-1) = 10 20 - x =20 -10 = 10 the numbers are 10 and 10 i just...- ben328i

High School Quadratic Equations and Inequalities question about properties of quadratic
[SOLVED] Quadratic Equations and Inequalities question about properties of quadratic so here is the question graph the function. state the domain and range of the function. F(x)=-2x^2-3x+2 i try and use the axis of symmetry (-b/2a) and then plug that into the original formula to get the...- ben328i

ya i have no clue what that link is trying to say. i kinda get that h4 is like the most productive. ya i have only taken an intro to physics. need more math to move up. but wasn't someone trying to do (fission/fusion forgot which one is which) with lasers and either (break apart or bond...- ben328i

cant you not gain energy? you just transfer it or something and don't you need about 300 million degrees to have fissio/fussion (forgot which one is where you combine two molecules) be a viable source without wasting energy put into it.- ben328i
