yes, never thought of that... although i think that's not unsolvable , given the cost reduction
perhaps it could be placed 10-100 m apart, close enough
thank you
why is there no telescope like Hubble on the international space station/?
as i know, the iss is only 150 km lower in orbit than the Hubble space telescope, and is at different inclination.
Having people around is pretty convenient i think, so replacing parts and doing regular maintenance would...
Referring to all the people who have watched the movie, i got a question.
It is about one of the planets where time passes drastically slower (1 hour on the surface is 7 Earth years )
due to gravitational time dilatation.
Earth moves together with the sun with speed of circa 500 km/s trough...
Hello
I have been struggling with this problem for a whole day, and finally admitting that i can't solve it, so i ask for help
I am familiar with the escape velocity , and the speed needed to brake into interplanetary space - the Newton cannonball thought experiment. But i was wonder...
Yeah... Parallax , i have forgotten that term
well Wikipedia sort of answered my questions.
Given a second thought , it is not so bright idea to send two satellites on a 12 year trip to function for a perhaps half of that time, given that Hubble space telescope was regularly repaired.
And 2 AU...
Hello people, first i need to say that i am quite a newb for astronomy.
I have a idea about creating deep space stereoscopic images.
I was wondered if it is usable to place two satellites(space telescopes) in heliocentric orbit, with distance approximately that of pluto , that are 180...
