Admissions Recommended Book For Entry to QM
For physics major students who study hard, it is not very difficult to learn. If you lack relative background, please master them. Just do it. After that, you can learn.- bobydbcn

Problems and solutions in quantum mechanics by Tamvakis Kyriakos
I have learned quantum mechanics 6 years ago. I got my PHD in theoretical physics now. When I studied QM for the first time , I can't understand until I meet Griffith's book. It is very worth reading. I give you a suggestion that there is not an easy way to study QM. Your must be familiar to...- bobydbcn

Graduate Are Newton's laws also an approximation?
I am not sure about that. The WKB approximation will be studied in advanced quantum mechanics (gratuate level). I haven't learned that part. -

Problems and solutions in quantum mechanics by Tamvakis Kyriakos
I have never read about the book. David Griffth 's introduction to quantum mechanics is better for learners. It is a classic.- bobydbcn

Graduate Why the off-diagonal elements of electric dipole element are zero?
the two energy level atom, whose hamiltonian takes the form \hat{H_A}=E_g|g\rangle\langle g|+E_e|e\rangle\langle e|, where E_g as well as E_e represent the eigenvalues and |g\rangle as well as |e\rangle denote the ground state and excited state. There is an interaction between the atom...- bobydbcn

Maybe WKB approximation could derive Newton's law. -

High School Doubt in uniform circular motion
by use of natural coordinates, it is very easy to prove that with constant speed and a fixed non-zero acceleration, the particle's motion must be circle. Moreover, if the particle's acceleration is zero, its trajectory is a straight line. I am a college teacher, believe in me. -

Graduate Questions about a projection operator in the representation theoy of groups
Thank you very much! I will go to study lie algebra. This friday, I had seen Leggett who 2003 nobel prize. I am so happy.- bobydbcn

Graduate Questions about a projection operator in the representation theoy of groups
I find it from the best book about lie algebra, which is called "Lie Algebras in Particle Physics, second edition", page 5. I advise you to have a look at it. Maybe it is easy for you. From your reply, I can deduce that you are really knowlegeable. Thank you.- bobydbcn
