Is Michael Moore's The Awful Truth the Most Entertaining Political Commentary?
He is a propaganda maker. Nothing more. Nothing presented in his any of his books or movies should be taken as absolute truth.- brendank

I WANT to build a nuclear reactor.
I'm usually very supportive of ambitious projects but honestly, choose something else to do. The litigation is too much and the safety and security is nothing a single person can handle.- brendank

Live on campus or rent an apartment?
I lived on campus my freshman year and right now I live off campus. I'd rather live on campus. Living off campus here is about half the price of living on campus.- brendank

Very strange situation advice please
How can you not like UCLA with their undie run every semester?? On a more serious note from my perspective, there is much more to transferring than just academics. Consider your friends, family, and social life as well.- brendank

Design Car Chassis: Forces & Positioning
Forces acting on the chassis would simple be forces from the suspension and shock absorber points and forces translated through the the axles. To figure out what those are depends on the application and configure of the components. Chassis design depends completely on suspension design and drive...- brendank

I Just Had an Interview at Fermilab
Thanks guys! My major is mechanical engineering but oddly enough, the position is in computer science and related to super computers. I was interviewed because I had some UNIX and programming experience in high school that I put on my resume. I would definitely work on a computer science...- brendank

I Just Had an Interview at Fermilab
The thing is, I've submitted close to a hundred internship applications to numerous companies and research programs and either received the shaft or nothing at all. I'm just excited to hear from some one, let alone Fermilab. It made my day for sure!- brendank

How Many Credits Do Upper-Level Students Typically Take in a Semester?
This semester I'm taking 21 and this fall I'm probably taking 18. I'm a mechanical engineering major with minors in, math, physics, and aerospace engineering. I'm a varsity athlete, participate in several student clubs, and will probably be on the student government next year. I think it all...- brendank
