Electromagnetic wave astronaut problem
Homework Statement An 80 kg astronaut has gone outside his space capsule to do some repair work. Unfortunately, he forgot to lock his safety tether in place, and he has drifted 5.0 m away from the capsule. Fortunately, he has a 1000 W portable laser with fresh batteries that will operate it for...- Cakiemmatdo

Solve Electric Field & Spacing of Parallel Capacitor
So I did it and I found out that a=-3.125 *10^14, but when I plug it into equation to find E= am/Q I found the result which is as much as half of the correct answer. Any helps??- Cakiemmatdo

Electric fields of wool and silk
So I set up the electric field vectors and everything I assume that the two large sheets are infinity large so its electric fields will be the same regardless to the distance, also I'm using equation E= n/ (2Eo) Point 1: We have E_n_1 points to the right (due to the negative charge of sheet...- Cakiemmatdo

Electric fields of wool and silk
You've hung two very large sheets of plastic facing each other with distance d between them . By rubbing them with wool and silk, you've managed to give one sheet a uniform surface charge density n1=-n0 and the other a uniform surface charge density n2=3n0 . Homework Statement Find the...- Cakiemmatdo
