Optimizing KCL using Matrix Inversion
I only have MATLAB on my laptop and haven't had a chance to plot the function yet but if you take the extreme values as I have with v1=v2=1 and v1=v2=2 that will tell you the range of the function.- chart2006

Optimizing KCL using Matrix Inversion
sorry it's a MATLAB notation I'm using. It means V1 = 1 to 2 in increments of 0.01. The incrementation is for me when I'm plotting the function.- chart2006

Optimizing KCL using Matrix Inversion
Set R1 = R2 = 500 ohms, then choose any R3 and plot I versus V1 and V2 for V1 and V2 are between 1 and 2 volts until you find a value of R3 that limits the magnitude of the current to .5 to 2mA. ; KCL i1, i2 = inv(A)*x i = i1 - i2 I made some large changes and found a few errors with my...- chart2006

Calculating & Plotting Period of Vibration for Slender Rod AB
Homework Statement The slender rod AB of weight W_{AB} is attached to two identical collars, each of weight W. The system lies in a horizontal plane and is in equilibrium in the position shown when the collar A is given a small displacement and released. Calculate and plot the period of...- chart2006

Determine the Maximum angular velocity
Homework Statement The 10-lb slender rod AB is welded to the 6-lb uniform disk, which rotates about a pivot at A. A spring of constant k = 4.5lb/ft is attached to the disk and is unstretched when rod AB is horizontal. The assembly is released from rest in the position shown. Calculate and...- chart2006

Graphing Hydrogen atom wave functions
I know that h squared is the probability density and not the probability but i still don't see what the relationship is with the functions given. Maybe they are something covered in a later chapter but I don't recognize them at least from the information covered thus far. I've looked through...- chart2006

Graphing Hydrogen atom wave functions
Homework Statement I have a series of functions, states, and levels that I'm suppose to graph using excel. Only problem is I'm not even sure of what to do. I'm completely confused/lost. Homework Equations n=1 l=0 R(r)=\frac{2}{a_0^{3/2}}e^{-r/a_0} n=2 l=0...- chart2006

Two-Dimensional Motion of a Particle: Velocity & Acceleration
Homework Statement The two-dimensional motion of a particle is defined by the relationship r = \frac {1}{sin\theta - cos\theta} and tan\theta = 1 + \frac {1}{t^2} , where r and \theta are expressed in meters and radians, respectively, and t is expressed in seconds. Determine (a)...- chart2006

Sliding on the surface of a rough sphere (ploting theta in excel)
Homework Statement I have determined the solution to my problem however now the problem asks me to plot theta as the block flies off the sphere when Mu k ranges from 0.0 to 0.5 in increments of 0.05 I don't know a great deal about working with Microsoft Excel. Well I do just not enough to...- chart2006
