    Say hi to you guys~ I'm from HK ^^

    oh no, you are right. most students would choose business, medicine, law before engineering or science. But I really love engineering or physics even if I would be offered those programmes. The alternative that I may consider is the double degree programme (BEng & BBA). Engineering/physics is a...

    Say hi to you guys~ I'm from HK ^^

    It's great~ ^^ yup~ I will stay in Hong Kong since my parent have no such money for me to go abroad. But what I'm worrying about is that HK is not a good place to study engineering. Maybe I will do part-time job and save some money to go overseas for my master degree (even dr.).

    Explanation of acceleration of a ball bouncing up and down on the ground

    oh, i must make a mistake now, let v be the velocity of the ball when it hits ground impluse = (mv - mu)/t net Force = ma impluse - mg = ma ma = (mv - mu)/t - mg a = (v - u)/t - g since t ∝ 1/k => t = μ/k where k is spring constant, μ is a constant hence, a = (v - u)k/μ - g da/dt =...

    Explanation of acceleration of a ball bouncing up and down on the ground

    So, you mean that there is different explanation when it is in different cases? Is there any wrong or improper concept? How about this? Since t ∝ kx where k is the spring constant and x is displacement (how should I difine x?) => t = μkx where μ is a constant. hence, a ≤ -2u/μkx - g...

    Say hi to you guys~ I'm from HK ^^

    I first knew the forum few months ago. I was doing a project on friction. I found that some questions asked are similar to mine and helped me to solve my problems and finish my project. After that, I found that many topics discussed are very useful for me to correct my improper or unclear...
