MHB What is the method for solving vector problems with component form and addition?
Thank you Mark, I took my finals today and as it turns out since there were new students coming in for the late semester, they took off most of the material from the beginning of the year.. So this wasn't on the test.. But I'm still confused. Earlier when you were solving like this And so the...- Coder74

MHB What is the method for solving vector problems with component form and addition?
Thanks, Mark! If I were to put this on a graph(triangle) how would I know which number goes on the corresponding side? How did you figure out that we needed to use cos to solve the answer? I really appreciate the help! :D- Coder74

MHB What is the method for solving vector problems with component form and addition?
Hi everyone, I am taking my finals next week and I am really excited. But I forgot how to solve problems like these I know I'm supposed to separate them and solve for x and y separately but its still not ringing any bells. Vector L is 303m long in a 205* direction. Vector M is 5552 m long in a...- Coder74

MHB Finding X & Y Components of Vectors
Im learning about how to find the x and y components of a vector, but I wanted to verify if I'm on the right track.. Ax=A cos(\theta) <-- solving for x Ay=A sin(\theta) <-- solving for y So if a vector is 9.55m long and points in a -48.0 degree direction. Is it Ay= 9.55 sin(-48.0)=7.3- Coder74

MHB How to Calculate Acceleration in Physics 1-D Kinematics?
Thanks for the rapid reply! I really appreciate it..however. I was lost in your explanation, it is truly in depth and an amazing point out. But my teacher explained it in a completely different way. Here's an example of the "formulas"- Coder74
