A pickle in finding vehicle center of gravity.

Thanks for the info, i am thinking the same way, but they somehow calculating it for the empty vehicle by distributing weight difference(fully loaded minus empty) into drivers seating, passengers and the rest to the back on the vehicle..So i really have no idea what is even happening there and...

A pickle in finding vehicle center of gravity.

So I'm trying to find vehicle center of gravity, but i only have this information: full loaded vehicle weight(3200kg or 31392 N) empty vehicle weight(2000kg or 19620 N) maximum rear axle capacity(1500kg or 14715 N) maximum front axle capacity(1800kg or 17658 N) Is this possible? I have a book...

How much of torque do you need to start wheels slipping?

I'm projecting a portal axles on a car. Yeah but i mean, how's that the wheels over-slipping occurs? Because the way I'm thinking now, I've just calculated how much of the force i need to simply start moving an object(you need to overcome normal force and a friction) but not that the wheels...

How much of torque do you need to start wheels slipping?

Thanks for replying, it looked so simple so i thought maybe it is only a very very basic formula, but if i only need to take into account actual weight distribution to make it more accurate that is great. But maybe can you explain a little bit? I understand why we need normal force and a...

How much of torque do you need to start wheels slipping?

So first of all, hello! I have a question - how much of a torque a car needs to produce that a wheels would start slipping? Let's say i have a car which weights 3200 kg, and has a wheel radius of 0.4394m. So I've been told that to calculate that, i need to do the following procedures(thats very...
