How Much Fuel and Oxidizer is Required for a Rocket to Reach 10,000 m/s?
Homework Statement A rocket for use in deep space is to have the capability of boosting a total load (payload plus the rocket frame and engine) of 3.10 metric tons to a speed of 10 000 m/s. (a) It has an engine and fuel designed to produce an exhaust speed of 2000 m/s. How much fuel plus...- cryptcougar

Horizontal Tension Between Two Blocks?
I figured it out! Turns out you don't even need to really now the coefficient of friction. All i did was find the acceleration of the blocks and use T=m1a and found the tension- cryptcougar

Horizontal Tension Between Two Blocks?
Homework Statement Two blocks connected by a rope of negligible mass are being dragged by a horizontal force Fvec. Suppose Fvec = 70.0 N, m1 = 11.0 kg, m2 = 26.0 kg, and the coefficient of kinetic friction between each block and the surface is 0.100. Determine the tension T. Diagram: [ m1 ]...- cryptcougar
