Differential Equations Problem
That's my mistake. I stated the problem incorrectly. It should say "inversely proportional". But regardless, eumyang pointed out what I was missing. I didn't use the substitution method to integrate the differential equation, so I never produced that negative sign.- Daweih

Differential Equations Problem
Ah, no. I didn't. I tried integrating using substitution just now, and it worked. >.< Thank you for pointing that out to me. It makes sense now.- Daweih

Differential Equations Problem
Homework Statement This is actually a question we went over in class, but I kind of spaced out when my teacher was explaining it. I have since solved it myself while I was reviewing for my calculus test, but when I compared my answer with the answer key my teacher provided to our class, I...- Daweih

Schools Effect of Dropped Class on Grad School Acceptance
My gpa is only 3.6 at the moment. I'm on the verge of getting a C in the class. You tell me if my choice is unreasonable or not. i just want to know whether dropping the class before it seriously hampers my gpa would yield worse consequences than sticking with it.- Daweih

Schools Effect of Dropped Class on Grad School Acceptance
I'm currently a Bio major in freshman year, and I currently have plans to go to optometry school. The thing is, I made the mistake of underestimating a class (Freshman Biology) and "ruined" my gpa as a result. I got an A-, which is perfectly fine, but nonetheless, if I had put forth a little bit...- Daweih

Finding the angle between two magnitudes.
Consider two displacements, one of magnitude 3.3 m and another of magnitude 4.3 m. What angle between the directions of this two displacements give a resultant displacement of magnitude (a) 5.1 m, (b) 2.8 m, and (c) 4.7 m. Homework Equations I've been using the law of cosine to work out...- Daweih
