Energy and Momentum in Electromagnetic waves

Help me... A sinusoidal electromagnetic wave from a radio station passes perpendicularly through an open window that has area of .5m^2. At the window, the electic field of the wave has rms value of .02 V/m. How much energy does this wave carry through the window during a 30sec commercial?

Undergrad Calculating Solar Sail Size for Propulsion Against Sun's Gravitational Force

power value is 3.9*10^26 and there is no efficiency of the sail. i tried your way and i got answer to be .04 m^2 but actual answer is 6.48 km^2. I got that answer by guessing... Thanks anyways.

Undergrad Calculating Solar Sail Size for Propulsion Against Sun's Gravitational Force

whats up guys. help me out NASA is giving serious consideration to the concept of solar sailing. A solar sailcraft uses a large, low-mass sail and the energy and momentum of sunlight for propulsion. The total power output of the sun is . How large a sail necessary to propel a 10,000-kg...
