Undergrad Finding dV/dt in V=4*L^3 at t=0.1s
Isn't dv/dt the differential of v with respect to t? Then surely the answer shouldn't be given in 'L' Also you have worked out dv/dl not dv/dt I think the chain rule is needed.- Doctoress SD

Undergrad Finding dV/dt in V=4*L^3 at t=0.1s
I would think that as you are given dl/dt and you can work out dv/dl and you are looking for dv/dt dv/dl [12L^3] dL = 12L^2 dl/dt = 10t dv/dl x dl/dt... the dl's cancel to leave dv/dt Wouldn't that be the chain rule? Perhaps u'v + v'u or in this case v't + t'v NO WAIT! So...- Doctoress SD

Can a monkey outrun a bullet and still save her litter?
Yeah right, maybe that is in America. If 3 lions were in a room then that might suggest they haven't been fed in a while and they will instinctually kill when there are no other animals around, also the room will be confined and they will do it for the sake of doing it, like tame cats play with...- Doctoress SD

Programming Fractals: How-To Guide
Perhaps a fractal that is already programmed and the software used so that I can read it and see where it comes from. A fractal that when you zoom in on it, it continues going in and in forever. Any fractal. I would like to know how to write a program that will zoom in on a fractal wherever...- Doctoress SD

Programming Fractals: How-To Guide
I only know what a compiler is and don't know how to work it. I am completely new to this but want to get ahead so that when we study this next year I will not fall behind too far. I am guessing they are as they sound. SD- Doctoress SD
