    Rocket Science - need confirmation

Is my method workable though? I'm assuming it won't be as efficient or accurate, but will it still give me accurate enough data to use?

Is that calculus? I won't be learning that for another 2years in the school system :/

    Rocket Science - need confirmation

Homework Statement given a graph of the thrust of an engine, we need to determine what mass to make our rocket so that it goes 15m into the air. Here is the graph: http://www.321rockets.com/content/image/26402/800/A8_thrustcurve.jpg I just need some confirmation on if I'm doing it right...

What is the Lewis Dot Diagram for SiC2?

Ok thanks. I just put it was a non polar covalent bond.

Are There Multiple Resonance Structures for HCN?

Show all possible structural diagrams for HCN. Isn't there just one? H (single bond) C (triple bond) N I can't draw a resonant structure because there is none (resonant means only moving of the bonds not the atoms, no?). I don't understand.

What is the Lewis Dot Diagram for SiC2?

I need to determine what type of covalent bond SiC2 (silicon dicarbide) and so creating the lewis dot diagram is helpful. I know I have 12 electrons available but I can't seem to draw it :/

Two forces questions - Extremely difficult

The force of static friction does, right? Because its friction on the top plate keeps it on top of the stack.

2D Kinematics Problem dealing with acceleration

I think I have it! ΔV=Vf-Vi Vf-Δv=Vi I know the x and y components of each Δv and Vf so I set up 2 separate equations: Vfx-ΔVx=Vix (Same idea with y) Then use Pythagorean with Viy and Vix to find Vi, find the angle using trig, etc?

    Another seemingly easy forces question

I am getting so confused. I will leave it as 2 signficant figures. Thanks all

    Another seemingly easy forces question

Oh ok. I've learned significant figures differently. 0.15 (the coefficient of friction, can't scroll up and see but i think that's the value) has 2 significant figures and so does the force (150N). The acceleration has 3 but you go by the least significant term so it has 2 in the end
