There is a preview button (piece of paper with a magnifying glass). If you are the first person to use it in a thread, you might have to reload the page to activate the MathJax resources so that LaTeX will start rendering. Warning: reload can permanently render LaTeX (you lose formatting commands), so reload with something simple.
