Why not transmit electricity in 4-phase?
Your right, I must have did something wrong when building the spreadsheet. The second time I did it, 3-phase does cancel out.- GregValcourt

Why not transmit electricity in 4-phase?
Or even better, generate in 4-Phase, convert to two-phase for transmission. Even number phases cancel out nicely (contrary to popular belief, 3-phase does not actually cancel out). 2-phase might be convertible back to four phase for the purpose of industrial motors. Forgive me for speaking out...- GregValcourt

Housings for prototypes (electronics)
As my hobby, I'm working on a robot. I've got the electronics mostly done, and it works. Programming is not a problem, since I'm a professional developer. What's got me stumped is housing the PCB boards. I've look at some products online, but I can't seem to find anything that would allow me...- GregValcourt

Optimizing Non-Adjustable Voltage Regulators with Simple Resistor Configurations
I'm not reluctant use an adjustable voltage regulator (the 956 is an adjustable switching regulator). I'm just curious and experimenting.- GregValcourt

Optimizing Non-Adjustable Voltage Regulators with Simple Resistor Configurations
I've played with adjustable voltage regulators already (such as nte956). My question is about "non-adjustable" voltage regulators (78xx). What is the easy way to adjust these? And by easy, I mean just using one or two resistors. I've seen some solutions using zener diodes, but I would like...- GregValcourt
