Does anyone know of a website or source of where I can find a list of various activities and what force is dealt to the body/head while doing it? Some examples I am looking for include car crash (whiplash), fighter pilots, and football players. I am looking to get as many examples as possible...
Hey, that's what I was thinking also. But I;m wondering if I should multiply the decleration by the mass of the parachute or the mass of the body? Since the parachute is the acting force would it be the parachute mass? Thanks!
Also, any idea how to find Impulse? :redface:
Calculating Force exerted on a skydiver when Parachute opens??
Ok. So i want to calculate the force in Newtons that is exerted on a skydiver when the parachute is deployed. I have the deceleration that the parachute causes, the velocity that the skydiver is going right as the parachute is...
Im doing research on skydiving and I am trying to find out how much drag is created on different jumps. I have different velocities for each of the jumps.
D = Cd ((rV^2)/2)A
That is the equation I am using. r is air density which I am using 1.2 kg/m^3. V is the velocity. And I've...
