Wavelength of matter waves at speed equal to zero.

Hi Chill Factor, Technically speaking, It's also true that a small ball has a chance to behave as a quantum object, right? Meaning that it may totally disappear and appear somewhere else for example. (Probably We need to wait longer than the 1 zillion times the life of our universe, but it may...

CERN team claims measurement of neutrino speed >c

I don't think they are singing "We are the Champions". They are showing lot of carefulness on their papers. But, since it seems it was not clear enough, what I was clearly stating is that this comment of yours was wrong: In your comment you were giving the status of "Physical Theory" to...

CERN team claims measurement of neutrino speed >c

No, I'm not... You just quoted me in the wrong place :-) hefty said too: What We do have right now (hopefully to make it more interesting) is a new empirical fact that contradicts previous measures of something. But anyway, you agree that CERN-GS measurements are not even close to leave...

CERN team claims measurement of neutrino speed >c

:-) Regarding the part in red, I think I missed something if in fact We already have a new physical theory that is not including previous theories. We're far from that point, I think. What We do have right now (hopefully to make it more interesting) is a new empirical fact that contradicts...

CERN team claims measurement of neutrino speed >c

Personally I think that it's MUCH MORE easier to believe that We, humans, are still FAR AWAY to be done with understanding all the aspects of the Universe, than, that We currently know everything (on this particular topic a others). i.e.: Galileo --> Newton --> Einstein --> (New, closer to...

Is the current paperback version of the Feynman Lectures the latest edition?

Hi Mike, I was looking for someone explaining the multiple editions of these Lectures and got to read it's own editor's explanation on this topic! Thanks a lot. I'm planning to buy these on my next trip to the USA next week, and wanted to makesure that I was going to get the latests edition...

CERN team claims measurement of neutrino speed >c

I don't see how they'll commit such an error... They even measured the distance to the detector using signals through well-known cables. Even the guy that dug the hole for the original mine, and probably a hole for an elevator, would know if it's 200m deeper :-) Remember the Chilean miners...
