Graduate I have 2 questions about relativity
First of all, velocity is a relative phenomenon. When we say velocity of an object is s m/s, it is relative to some other object or a frame of reference (fixed to an object). 1)According to the Theory of relativity, the speed of light is always equal to 3*10^8 m/s. But this velocity is...- hrishikesh

Graduate I've found a way to see electrons (?)
I've found a way to "see" electrons! (?) So why can't we see electrons in the double slit experiment? Because if we throw photons at them and it changes its velocity/momentum. Hence we can't "see" through which slit the electron goes in a double slit experiment. My basic idea is that we can't...- hrishikesh

High School Do Electric Charges Exert a Force on Themselves?
hmm here it goes i know the electromagnetic (or whatever) force is equal to the product of two charges upon square of distances btn them (isnt it??) so, if the distances betn them is 0, then the above eqn would be Infinite. ie the force will be infinite and the charge will just...- hrishikesh

Undergrad Trying to see light as a wave
what u r saying is about mechanical wave. Mechanical waves require material medium and occur by actual movement of material particles. Light is an electromagnetic wave it can travel in vacuum ie it doesn't require a material medium. NO PARTICLES ARE ACTUALLY MOVING.- hrishikesh
