Graduate What Would Happen if a White Hole Collided with a Black Hole?
i know~! When a white hole and a black hole collides it will form a grey hole! lolz just kidding.Black holes would be too vast for the white hole, in hypothesis, the white hole would be sucked up.- idontthinkright

Solving for Distance and Speed in Physics Problems
Question one is a total math question.the formula for solving it comes from the chapter Mensuration. (Angle given)/360 degrees = Arc length( the one you want to find)/2*pi*8.1m. The final answer would be 16.9668m. round off = 17 metres.um,didnt we learn this at grade 10?- idontthinkright

Calculating Potential Energy Change on an Incline - What am I doing wrong?
so rounded off, the G.P.E is 0.28 joules. i don't see why you require harder formulas than just gpe = mgh.- idontthinkright

Explosion Question did I do this correctly?
yea AKG i tried it and got 2m/s, therefore it had no effect, and they both had the same speeds.Btw how did you get 3.46m/s? Maybe you used another method...so either that or 2.82m/s of the sqrt of 8..- idontthinkright

Undergrad Formation of Black Holes from Neutron Stars and White Dwarfs
I hear that the planets we are currently seeing in our night-sky is what it looked like millions of years ago.(light takes time to reach into our feeble little eyes)Does that apply to black holes too? They always say that planets are slowly vanishing from our systems, but that means it is what...- idontthinkright

Graduate Black hole might crunch the many planets into marble-sized spheres
If the black hole has infinite capacity to store mass, why,in a case of the sucking up of the sun,why would their(crudely described)sunny-side up expel huge jet streams of flames and heat? Cant they absorb heat energy and UV since they have capacity to collect mass? If it is possible the Black...- idontthinkright

Why is it that if you actually entered the sun's core, all time would stop,or speed up?- idontthinkright

High School Another question,(hope it isnt boring)
lol loseyourname, once you start calculating, you're already WRONG. the speeds, current, gravity are all irrelevant when it is acceleration-free.Without gravity, the hat will be in mid-air and stuck there, and gravity doesn't affect your current rowing and you continue rowing with no resistance...- idontthinkright

High School Another question,(hope it isnt boring)
i don't know about you guys, but I am going to post a few more questions.By the way to find the answer you NEED the hat for the question. It don't matter whether its logical,or not.It is focused rather on inertial frame and point reference.- idontthinkright

High School Another question,(hope it isnt boring)
Kurdt you almost got it correct(darn).when instantaneous free-acceleration turnabout is possible, the river and gravity becomes irrevelent.Focusing your point of view onto the hat..and you will see it keeping still.Realising it is missing,it will take you 45 mins to row back to where you lost it...- idontthinkright

High School Another question,(hope it isnt boring)
You are canoeing upstream of a river, the current against you is 3 mph.You are rowing at 4 and 1/4.Your hat falls onto the water and only after 45 minutes, you then realize that it is gone.in a split second you make an instantaneous,acceleration-free turnabout to get your hat. How long will it...- idontthinkright

School teacher has a bag of hats
(not trying to act stupid ) The white hats often reflects heat, while the black hat absorbs heat,if he was supposedly smart(like Njorl said),he would have taken the time when the teacher was asking the students to identify the hat on his head by feeling the heat, and since there isn't any...- idontthinkright
