Finding Mass through Stoichiometry of Ethanol in a chemical equation

Homework Statement 1) What is the mass of 100% Ethanol? 2) How much ethanol would be expected from 18% glucose solution? 3) What else will be generated? How can we calculate this amount? Given: Fermentation Equation: C6H12O6(aq) + 2C2H5OH(aq) + 2CO2(g) + Heat...

    Orbit, and Centrifuge questions

for the apparent weight i used the formula wapp = mg(1+ay/g) g would be 0.223 but what would ay be?

really? i didn't think a name like that would be pretty serious around here. Sorry, if i offended you.

    Orbit, and Centrifuge questions

Homework Statement Communications satellites are placed in a circular orbit where they stay directly over a fixed point on the equator as the Earth rotates. These are called geosynchronous orbits. The altitude of a geosynchronous orbit is 3.58 x10^7 m a)What is the period of a satellite in...

Calculating Acceleration on an Inclined Ramp with Two Sliding Packages

k well for box A i got Fnet = F B on A - Ff and for Box B i got F net = -F a on B - Ff but what would F b on a be equal to if i broke it down into f=ma format? Would it be f= mass of b times the acceleration of b?

Calculating Acceleration on an Inclined Ramp with Two Sliding Packages

Homework Statement Two packages at UPS start sliding down the 20 degree ramp shown in the figure. Package A has a mass of 7.00 kg and a coefficient of kinetic friction of 0.180. Package B has a mass of 12.0 kg and a coefficient of kinetic friction of 0.150. How long does it take package A...

Finding Mass and Distance using apparent Weight

    then for t = 2 to t = 10 Constant Velocity so a = 0 x = 3.924 (8) + 1/2 (0)(8)^2 Took t=8 since 10-2 = 8 x = 31.392m then for t=10 to t=12 x = (3.924)(2) + 1/2 (-1.962)(2)^2 x = 3.924m and the total i got was 39.24 m ( Realized i had an error in there so i changed it)

Finding Mass and Distance using apparent Weight

    k well i did for t=0 to t=2 x = (0)(2) +1/2 (1.962)(2)^2 x = 3.924m Vf^2 = (0)^2 +2(1.962)(3.924) Vf = 3.924 is that correct so far?

Finding Mass and Distance using apparent Weight

Basically for t=0 to t=2 i got 3.924 m t=2 to t=10 i got 31.392m t=10 to t=12 i got 27.468m and i got the total to be 62.784m whoops i should start editing my posts instead of continuously posting. Sorry.
