Graduate Exploring the Concept of Quantum Crystallization: Implications and Possibilities
So does this BOSE-Einstein condensation thing, mean that wood and all materials can be turned into let's say, liquid?- Imop45

Is a Gas-Powered Blower/Vac Enough for a Water-Capable Hovercraft?
That would really work? I thought you needed a lot of pressure to inflate the skirt.- Imop45

Friction Is that because it has no friction? Also is solid gas possible, sorry but I'm not too skilled in this area?- Imop45

High School What is the physical appearance of a proton?
Pictures of atoms. Hi, sorry for posting this, but I was wanting to know if there is an actual picture of an atom. Picture as in a scan or something like that. Has a Microscope even been made that can see that small a structure?- Imop45

Is a Gas-Powered Blower/Vac Enough for a Water-Capable Hovercraft?
QUOTE=Danger]You certainly can do it that way, and keep your lift independent of the thrust. An easier way, though, is to use the motor/fan aimed backward and simply duct part of the propulsion air downward through a hole in the deck. So how would I do this. You can use paint if you want and...- Imop45

Is a Gas-Powered Blower/Vac Enough for a Water-Capable Hovercraft?
Oh, so no matter how fast the blower can blow,it doesn't matter if it doesn't have enough power/force. It's like a car that can go very fast, but can't go up a steep hill; it has the speed but not the power. Is this how it works with hovercrafts? Could I use a pump then, to inflate my skirt...- Imop45

Mini Hovercraft DIY: Build an 8''x3'' Craft with 9-Volt Batteries
Ground effect THats little R/C is cool! You said it's not a hovercraft, but ground effect. What is ground effect, and can you make a machine that uses ground effect for personal use instead of a Hovercraft? And be cann, I mean is it possible for someone with little experience to make it, like a HC?- Imop45

Homemade Helicopter: For the People.
No. I don't. Thats why I wanted to learn what was involved. My Grandfather was actually wanting to look into, as he wants a ultralight plane or something related to it. Thanks though.- Imop45

Is a Gas-Powered Blower/Vac Enough for a Water-Capable Hovercraft?
See I look at that, but it was too small, the HC, so I made a new post to satisfy what I wanted too know. Oh, I thought mythbuster did an episode on HC's. It really required that much power(for high speed)? So with water or un-flt areas, it takes a lot extra? So, I was wanting a hovercraft...- Imop45

I thought, though, that it requires more power, etc. to make a HC run over/on water?- Imop45

Is a Gas-Powered Blower/Vac Enough for a Water-Capable Hovercraft?
I searched though other threads, and didn't find much, although I limted my search cuase this sites kinda slow. "The kind of hovercraft you're talking about is big, about the size of a small boat, and you'll need a lot of power for it, like 50hp-100hp between the lift and thrust IMO." I'm not...- Imop45

Homemade Helicopter: For the People.
Ok, to clarify, I meant cheap as in, building a Helicopter and not buying a$15,000 motor and things. Yeah, I'm not going to buuld the frame out of duct tape...I was saving that for the motor parts.- Imop45

Ok, I heard that you could make a cheap, but good helicopter, that's a 1-2 seater, relatively easy. How could this be done?- Imop45
