Solve Fluid Flow Problem: Find Water Rise in Cylindrical Bucket
Homework Statement A cylindrical bucket, open at the top, is 30.0 cm high and 14.0 cm in diameter. A circular hole with a cross-sectional area 1.72 cm^2 is cut in the center of the bottom of the bucket. Water flows into the bucket from a tube above it at the rate of 2.00×10^−4 m^3/s ...the...- joe007

Undergrad Are Events A and B Independent?
The two events A and B have probabilities 0.2 and 0.4. Also P(A intersect B) = 0.08. (a) Are the two events A and B independent? Explain. well since 0.2*0.4=0.8 they are independent (b) Find the probability that either A or B or both occur. 0.2+0.4+0.08=0.68 (c) Find the probability...- joe007

Undergrad What Are the Steps for Calculating Residuals in a Regression Model?
anyone have any idea on residuals well i tried this for the first residual at x=303 and y=30 f(x)=303-(0.509+0.09(30)) =2.2 but R tells me it it 1.67 can u tell me what's wrong with this cheers :)- joe007
