Help I don't understand about equailities of the eqation.
Homework Statement y'=-5xy, y=? The Attempt at a Solution i solved that, dy/dx=-5xy dy/y=-5x dx ∫(1/y)dy=∫-5x dx = ln(lyl)= -2.5x^2+C so, y=+- e^(-2.5x^2+C) =+-K*e^(-2.5x^2) but the answer is y=K*e^(-2.5x^2) how can i understand this? just shoud...- john.lee

About Solvable/Unsolvable ODEs
In my class, I learned about a First-order ODEs, and solvable and unsolvable. example in case solvable ODEs) dy/dt=t/y dy/dt=y-t^2 example in case unsolvable ODEs) dy/dt=t-y^2 but , i don't know how distinguish those. please, teach ME! : ( as possible as easily !- john.lee
