Undergrad Understanding and Detecting Homoscedasticity in Statistical Analysis

While we're on the subject, by my understanding, heteroskedasticity is when the variance of the error doesn't match the variance of the empirical linear regression? Am I correct?

What is Econometrics and How Does it Predict Future Economic States?

Also to break it down even further, econometrics is used to quantify economic problems and find solutions. In other words, econometrics is used to answer the economic questions of "how much" and "how many". For example, suppose a popular advertisement shifts the demand curve to the right for a...

    Lucas Numbers and Generating Functions

I should've been more specific, but we have to use the Fibonacci numbers to generate the Lucas numbers in this manner. EDIT: I changed it up a little bit as well.

Someone me solve this question I'm totally blank Please anyone

I think for anyone to help you, you have to make an attempt at the problem. I will give you some advice though. Make linear equations that connect each of the dots. See if that helps a little.

    Lucas Numbers and Generating Functions

Here is my problem and my attempt at the answer. Any help or advice is highly appreciated. Problem With the famous sequence of Lucas numbers 1, 3, 4, 7, 11, 18... (Where each number is the sum of the last two and the first two are defined as 1 and 3.) use generating functions to find an...
