Undergrad How to lift water up to 5 metres without using a pump?
Try getting an object with enough density to exert a gravitational pull on the water then place it more than 5m above the water- kenyanchemist

Undergrad Could "reverse entropy stars" exist in our universe?
In our universe of endless wonders it's not that hard to imagine... who knows, maybe he has telepathically seen something the rest of us are yet to :biggrin::biggrin:?:)- kenyanchemist

How do other planets reflect energy?
Let me put it this way, Every body (planets, asteroid, comet, moon) whether having an atmosohere or not has that 'comfort zone' That temperature range that it mostly oscilliates in Several factors affect the temperature e.g. distance from the sun, atmosphere thickness and composition, time of...- kenyanchemist

Undergrad How can I confirm Lz=ħ,0,-ħ using operators and eigenfunctions?
Hi, I have a question Given the function LzYilm(θ,ϕ) =mħYilm(θ,ϕ) What steps can I take to confirm that Lz=ħ,0,-ħ- kenyanchemist

Probability distribution curve for an electron in 2s and 2p
Yes it is... i guess I didn't explain the problem completely... it is a plot of the function that am looking for However you would be surprised how difficult it is to actually find it is like looking for a needle in a haystack. A needle that my baby brother promised is in there- kenyanchemist

Probability distribution curve for an electron in 2s and 2p
hi, so my lecturer decides to give me manic depression by sending me on a wild goose chase. what is the general form of a plot of Ψ, Ψr2 and r2Ψ versus r for both Ψ2s and Ψ2p orbital... am not even sure i said it right So far I have only gotten the Ψ2r2 versus r- kenyanchemist
