Electric Impact Work for 300lb Lever Arm? Nut-Busting Explained
Lets see if I can do the math. Electric impact driver with 780 ft-lbs torque and 1/4" lever but give a force of 39,000 lbs? Am I correct? My problem is I need to lift 260 lbs with a 3 ft lever arm. So, I need a torque of 780 ft-lbs. Kevin- kevindeschamp

Why are gas turbine engines not used in automobiles?
The Abrams military tank is a practical application of the turbine engine. The roots of the Abrams tank started with the Chrysler turbine car. The biggest drawbacks are fuel economy, cost, and emissions.- kevindeschamp

Can gasoline engines run on diesel fuel and vice versa?
Petrol in a diesel engine: The petrol will combust before the piston reaches the top dead center. Internal damage will result. Diesel in a petrol engine: The engine will not start. The compression will be too low to ignite the diesel.- kevindeschamp
