Conditional probability and defect rate
I see what you mean. My mistake is that I did not consider to multiply the probabilities by corresponding values. Then, my question is. Some problems that I solved earlier were easily solved by using tables like this. How do I distinguish which method to use?- Kinetica

Conditional probability and defect rate
I drew a table: Def No Def I 0.08 0.32 0.40 II 0.10 0.50 0.60 0.18 0.82 1 It is a little bit off but you can see that elements add up to 1. and you can also see the number 0.82 - this is my answer.- Kinetica

LaTeX Adding a jpeg in LaTeX automatically adds directory address
Here is the latex file and the document. % !TEX TS-program = pdflatex % !TEX encoding = UTF-8 Unicode % This is a simple template for a LaTeX document using the "article" class. % See "book", "report", "letter" for other types of document. \documentclass[11pt]{article} % use larger...- Kinetica

LaTeX Adding a jpeg in LaTeX automatically adds directory address
Weird things happen with my TeXnicCenter. Now, a table got stuck in between my picture no matter where I place this table within the document. Also, the last suggestion did not help. Let me attach the file.- Kinetica

Conditional probability and defect rate
Homework Statement Of the items produced daily by a factory, 40% come from line I and 60% from line II. Line I has a defect rate of 8%, whereas line II has a defect rate of 10%. If an item is chosen at random from the day’s production, find the probability that it will not be defective...- Kinetica

LaTeX Adding a jpeg in LaTeX automatically adds directory address
Hello! When I add a picture in my LaTeX document, the system automatically adds the directory of the file like seen in the attachment. Is there a way to fix it? because I don't need the directory to be seen. My code is: \begin{center} \includegraphics[width=0.50\textwidth]{E:/Game Theory...- Kinetica

Probability, There are 20 laborers to four different construction jobs
Then, the final answer for part a is: (4!16!)/(5!3!4!4!) divided by [20!/(6!4!5!5!)]- Kinetica

Probability, There are 20 laborers to four different construction jobs
OK - Now I am correcting myself a bit. The logic behind part a answer: The total number of all the possible options is [20!/(6!4!5!5!)]. Now I know that I have to put 4 minority workers into each job. So I have 4! options of distribution of those minorities. I also have 16! workers that are...- Kinetica

What Defines a Firm's Decision Problem in Game Theory?
Here is just a general question. I've got a game theory question, which asks to solve a firm's decision problem. How do I define the decision problem? Is it an equation that equates the total probability of all the events to some outcomes?- Kinetica
