I am not referring to any particlular question. I can eventually get the answer, but unfortunately I don't have too much of time in an examintaton hall and have difficulty focuing without getting muddled up

What I need is advice on how to go about solving problems without getting flustered. I guess practice is the best, if not only way. Any other helpful suggestions would be appriciated! :)

I know there's been loads of discussion about this everywhere, but- why don't we touch things at the microscopic(or quantum, whatever) level? I know that it has to do with the Pauli Exclusion Principle, and the Van der Walls force- but- could i just get a plain clear( i know what I'm asking for...

The principle states that two electrons cannot have the same quantum numbers. And I've read that this applies to "fermions"- protons, neutrons, 1/2 spin particles. But how exactly does this apply to, say, a proton? Sorry if I sound stupid...I've got all my knowledge about this through the...
