Finding momentum of a photon/ Finding the mass of a object
Hmmm what if I converted 140eV into joules? Would I still use eV/c or put it as kgm/s ?- LionLieOn

Finding momentum of a photon/ Finding the mass of a object
Homework Statement So me and my friend were comparing our homework and we noticed that although we had the same answers, we both had different ways of answer them. So I was just wondering who's work, my friend or mine, is the most correct? Here's the questions. 1. Calculate the momentum of a...- LionLieOn

Compare and contrast a 2.2 eV photon with a 2.2 eV electron
Thank you for taking your time to review my work! As for the assignment, my teacher did mention that the "Mini Project" was unplanned. But she felt it was a good way of distinguishing the difference between the electron and the photon (And to help students with low marks bring their marks up a...- LionLieOn

Compare and contrast a 2.2 eV photon with a 2.2 eV electron
Homework Statement Hey everyone, So my teacher assigned a mini project just before our finals and I was wondering if someone could look over my work and my calculations. I just want to make sure I understood everything since my final exams are coming. Here's the assignment. Compare and...- LionLieOn

A 3rd method of finding wavelength in a double slit
Homework Statement Upon using Thomas young’s double slit experiment to obtain measurements, the following data were obtain. Use these data to determine the wavelength of light being used to create the interference pattern. Do this in three different ways (6) • the angle to the eighth maximum...- LionLieOn

A laser emitting light with a wavelength of 560 nm (Single slit).
Hmm did I approach it wrong? From what i have in my notes, the central maxima is twice as wide as the other maxima. Since Central Maxima was given I used the formula 2(Triangle)y to find the distance between the other maxima. :/ unless I'm forgetting something crucial. I upon looking at this...- LionLieOn

A laser emitting light with a wavelength of 560 nm (Single slit).
Homework Statement Homework EquationsThe Attempt at a Solution a) see attached. b)[/B] i) Decreasing the width of the slit will cause less interference fringes to be seen, increases the distance amongst fringes and the fringes become wider. ii) If the screen was moved further away, fewer...- LionLieOn
