Piecewise Rectilinear Motion Integration
Bump. I thought the integration for a variable raised to a power is to add one to the exponent and divide the coefficient by this exponent. Thus, I do not understand how 3t^2 could be obtained.- LNH

Piecewise Rectilinear Motion Integration
How is the "3t^2" obtained? I expected "4t^(3/2)" because (1/2)+1=(3/2).- LNH

Piecewise Rectilinear Motion Integration
Homework Statement Suppose that a particle moves along a line so that its velocity v at time t is given by 5t, if 0≤t<1 (6(t)^(1/2))-(1/t), if 1≤t where t is in seconds and v is in centimeters per second (cm/s). Estimate the time(s) at which the particle is 4 cm from its starting position...- LNH

Orientation of Image Produced by Double Convex Lens
This is not really a problem, more just a fact-based question. I have been using the Google, but I have been unable to find an answer. Is there a way to induce the answer that I am missing? Question: What range of distance does a double convex lens have to be from an object to...- LNH
