Is Grounding a Necessary Safety Measure for Electronic Power Supplies?
I have a nice and neat little PSU with a fuse from a DVD player, it outputs +/-12, gnd and +/-5 so 24 , 17 and 7 as well. The PCB had a 2 prong AC plug, probably with one bigger than the other. And on the PCB there is a place where a 3rd ground prong would be screwed on like on my printers PSU...- LordVader88

Undergrad What are the limits for the integral of sin(x) * sin(x^2)?
I've never cracked this 1 yet, and I don't remember if it's domain was [0,1] or [0,∞), pretty sure it was 1 of the 2, and not anything with -∞ or ∏/2 for example ∫[sinx * sin(x^2)]dx- LordVader88

Troubleshooting My 555 Circuit: What Happened and How Can I Fix It?
only 1 I had, I made another 555 circuit and it doesn't work right either So I'll have to make some 741 circuits, at least I have a few of them- LordVader88

Making a Blinking LED 555 Timer
I know nothing, but pin 1 should be ground, pin8 is VCC +4.5-15V, I know there's a load of ways to hook them up, I don't know- LordVader88

Are capacitors a viable option for storing charge in electronic circuits?
Batteries are used for long term storage of electrical energy as you know. I'm a near noob, but caps are used on small time scales, they are always getting charged/discharged, and they can be used to do a pile of things, but they are mostly always charging/discharging when taking part in...- LordVader88

Troubleshooting My 555 Circuit: What Happened and How Can I Fix It?
Did I just fry my IC555 ? Hi, 1st time poster, long time student/hobbiest of math, physics, most sciences. Just getting serious about electronics lately so I made my 1st 555 circuit ever I made this blinker , it's a short vid with a very simple schematic in it, he draws it as he goes towards...- LordVader88
