Graduate Is the universe a recycling bin? (Entropy)
Why does a white hole imply other universes? If matter that enters a black hole re-emerges at a white hole, that wouldn't violate energy conservation. You'd just have to accept 2nd Law Neutrality on the Universal Scale. And the Universe would become a big perpetual motion machine...- Mad_Morlock

Graduate Is the universe a recycling bin? (Entropy)
But if galactic formations have a cyclical lifecycle, being compressed into dark matter through a singularity before re-emerging at a Swartzchild White Hole, could the overall entropy of the Universe be said to be decreasing over time?- Mad_Morlock

How Close Are We to Doomsday?
I'd give it a few months before it begins to become uninhabitable due to 'Hawking Radiation' caused by the Large Hadron Collider. I don't mean Hawking Radiation as in the evaporation of black holes, I mean the formation of orbitting mini-black holes at low altitude. It would be like having a low...- Mad_Morlock

Can a New Topology Explain the Complexity of the Universe?
Already been done. My analysis of topology is based on three questions. 1. Why is the Virgo cluster blue-shifted? 2. Why is the Draco cluster massively red-shifted? 3. Does metric expansion imply implosion across a temporal dimension?- Mad_Morlock

Can a New Topology Explain the Complexity of the Universe?
The IR forum... now I can't see that? (Nevermind. Sub-sub forum. Gotcha.) And I posted in the cosmology section because I figured that if I'm posing a thought regarding a topology for cosmology it should be there that I post it.- Mad_Morlock

Can a New Topology Explain the Complexity of the Universe?
Not random speculations but logical conclusions derived from topological analysis of a 4 dimensional construct like a hypersphere. If someone came up with a satisfactory topology that fit well with all experimental data to date, should they be permitted to share this information online? Or...- Mad_Morlock

Undergrad Red Shifts and the expanding universe
Big questions. 1. Why is Virgo the only cluster of galaxies massively blue-shifted? 2. Why are galaxies in the Draco cluster supermassively redshifted? 3. Does the metric expansion of space imply a decrease or implosion across a 4th dimension?- Mad_Morlock

Can a New Topology Explain the Complexity of the Universe?
If someone comes up with a novel topology for the Universe that would take into account all the variables we're currently experiencing, why should that person not be permitted to post such information?- Mad_Morlock

Graduate Is the Universe Really Expanding?
hypersphere key I'm not sure this will be well recieved, but I had an idea regarding the topology of the universe that might do well as a model... [edited non-mainstream theory]- Mad_Morlock

Manufacuring Thermionic Power Chips
From what I can see, the interconnect for the diode junction is where thermal evolution takes place. The substates are just an energy transfer medium (non-electrical) to even out the absorption of energy over the surface area. You can't eliminate the interconnects. You'd remove the electrical...- Mad_Morlock

Manufacuring Thermionic Power Chips
I'm not really worried about someone stealing the idea. MIT has 48 registered patents concerning this diode, I'm just proposing a different arrangement. To be honest, I'd rather not be much involved with it at all, but I think I see something so I feel obligated to try to share it.- Mad_Morlock

Manufacuring Thermionic Power Chips
Well, I'm trying, but I don't want to come across as foolish. Maybe I'm overlooking something relatively simple that puts a kibosh on the whole idea... So I figured I'd bounce the idea off the internet while I was trying to get through to MIT.- Mad_Morlock

Manufacuring Thermionic Power Chips
Hello, I'm new to this board, but I'd like to get some verification on an idea I'm working on. In 2001, Eneco, a company owned and operated by Professors at MIT, delivered their "Power Chip", a semiconductor structure that delivers to the solid state realm the powers of a vacuum tube...- Mad_Morlock
