Graduate Understanding Electron Kinetic Energy in Quantum Wells
Why should an electron in a semiconductor have the same energy (or possibly have) as a quantum dot? Naturally the description of the quantum dot has a degree of freedom less.- MarcoJV

Undergrad Please share your chaotic systems....
I found this very useful, even though there are many blank slides, thank you! I know about double pendulums and stuff, but, I want something more attractive, something not very common.- MarcoJV

Undergrad Please share your chaotic systems....
Hi. I am an undergrad student taking a course on dynamical systems. Our final assignment is to find and study a dynamic system (not necesarily mechanic, but chaotic, natually). I was wondering if there is experenced people in this community that could help me find an interesting system or...- MarcoJV

Undergrad How Does Wave Function Collapse Work in Quantum Mechanics?
I think the animation is very well done. I personally don't like this interpretation, and I believe it is much easier for students new to QM to be introduced to statistical interpretations. In fact, even in the video they recur to an statistical interpretation of the velocity of one particle (as...- MarcoJV

Schools Cosmology/Strings or Astroparticles
Hi. I am a senior undergraduate and recently I was given the opportunity to participate in an important event ( http://fisica.ugto.mx/~events/mexicopas/ ). This event consists in a series of courses focused on one of three fields: cosmology, astroparticle physics or string theory. I plan to...- MarcoJV
