    Some problems(electric field.electric potential)

gauss' law for electric field, especially the third question is confused mee. ooh ..hmm E.dA=Q/e0 ok ı know..for shell what can ı do? dQ=RHO*4*Pİ*r2*dr ı didnt understand this equation.isnt rho used for 3D shapes? is shell 2D isn't it?

    Some problems(electric field.electric potential)

heyy:cry: I am not an idiot..I tried to solve the first one.. but I don't know true or false,I have some opinions about the third one, but I couldn't understand why rho is given for spherical shell, Isn't is used in volumetric shape (I want to mean that ..for instance rho *4pi/3*r3=Q for...

    Some problems(electric field.electric potential)

please help mee, I have an exam tomorrow:cry: 1) Two long, thin cylindirical shells of radii r1 and r2,respectively,are oriented coaxially (one cylindwer is centered inside the other). The cylinders carry equal and opposite linear charge densities lambda ,describe the resulting electric field...

What is a Removable Discontinuity and How Does it Affect x=2 in g(x) = x?

HallsofIvy ,your explanation is very good, thanks a lot

What is a Removable Discontinuity and How Does it Affect x=2 in g(x) = x?

f(x) is not cont at x=2 because f(2)=1 is not equal to lim x->2f(x)=2.I know what continuity is.I don't know how we change the value of f(2) to 2 to be continuous x=2?? and what are the conditions of the continuous extension ?Can be every funct.that is not continuous become cont.?

What is a Removable Discontinuity and How Does it Affect x=2 in g(x) = x?

    the book says that g(x)= x ,if x is not equal to 2 / 1,if x=2 has a removable disc. at x =2. I couldn't remove it.I guess I didn't understand a removable dic. completely.I have an exam on friday.I need your help:confused...

High School What are the differences between static and kinetic friciton?

hımm.I mean that after the certain point(when applied force >the static force) ,the static friction transletes to the kinetic friction. It is true?

High School Is the friction always a bad force?

yeah..I am confused...in the high school teachers said' friction's and motion's direction are always opposite to each other' now ı know it is not true.all right, when have they the same directions?
