Simple Harmonic Motion and equilibrium of springs
Thank you but no answer has a wrong dimension, cause they are all in the form of a constant*root(m/k), which is correct!- Mateus Buarque

Simple Harmonic Motion and equilibrium of springs
The figure below shows a system in equillibrium. The pulley and the springs (both with constants "k") are ideal. The period of oscillation of the mass A is given by: Relevant equations: F = -kx (SHM) I tried to do a "force diagram" and set up some geometric relations but it´s not working.- Mateus Buarque

Calculus What Are the Best Multivariable Calculus Books for IPhO Preparation?
Hi guys, i´m pretty well in calculus 1 and i´m studying for the International Physics Olympiad. So I´d like to know some multivariable calculus books that cover vector calc too, are balanced (proofs are welcome) and emphasizes physical intuitions. Thank you already!- Mateus Buarque

Area of Hexagon - Geometry Challenge
Definetely :). I just said that because the answer is invariant, so they should just cancel out in the end.- Mateus Buarque

Area of Hexagon - Geometry Challenge
Determine the area of the painted hexagon, knowing that the area of triangle ABC is 120cm^2 IMG Link: https://m.imgur.com/a/WtdsW I tried using Heron´s formula, but just ended up with a bunch of terms and one more variable. Sidenote: I guess part of it is figuring out that the side lenghts...- Mateus Buarque
