High School 3 basic question about Coulomb's Law
I was asking about how it's possible to find out (is there an equation or is it just an experimental thing?) what charge exactly a certain object has. So, if you for example have an atom (just as an example!) with 5 protons, 5 neutrons and 20 electrons, then how can I say what charge the atom has?- MetaUniverse

High School 3 basic question about Coulomb's Law
I've learned it on this website : http://study.com/academy/lesson/electric-force-definition-equation.html If you scroll down a bit then you will find the headline : Calculating Electric Force Using Coulomb's Law and in its text you can find the explanation and the equation of coulombs law, but...- MetaUniverse

High School 3 basic question about Coulomb's Law
Hello everyone! I'm currently trying to calculate electric forces between two objects, so for that I of course need Coulomb's Law. I understood its equation (etc.), but there are 3 things that I haven't found out yet: -How exactly can you find out or calculate what amount of charge an object...- MetaUniverse

High School Methods of accelerating in space?
hello ! I was thinking about some ideas of new ways to accelerate spacecraft s in space, but for that it would be helpful to know which methods are currently in use. I'm talking about the acceleration in general, so both at a place in space influenced more by gravity ( like Earth orbit ) and a...- MetaUniverse

What sparked Torge's interest in space engineering?
Hey there! I'm new to this forum, so I guess I'll just quickly introduce myself! My name is Torge, I'm a 14-year-old student in 9th grade of a german Gymnasium and I'm super interested in physics, mainly astrophysics and space engineering, which is the reason for why I'm here! I know, lots of...- MetaUniverse
