Undergrad Centripetal force apparatus lab
or simply to say as centripetal force vs mass, v2/r is constant as r is unchanged, v should be unchanged to keep v2/r constantbut i still don't get the 'tare' button question -

Undergrad Centripetal force apparatus lab
for the velocity one, i think i get it. Since v = 2πr / t so if r is unchanged, v will not be changed. i.e. kept constant -

Undergrad Centripetal force apparatus lab
Actually, I am going to do a centripetal force apparatus lab tmr morning. Here I get some pre-lab questions. In this lab, we are going to use economy force sensor (as I know there are 2 types, but it doesn't matter). There is one question related to this sensor... It says "The 'Tare' button on... -

How Fast Must a Bullet Travel to Tip a Rotating Cube?
So for a cube, x, y and z must be used? How can I apply parallel-axis theorem in this? I know it states that I = Icm + MD2 But in this case, how do I measure D? From where to the axis? Corner?- MickeyGoh

How Fast Must a Bullet Travel to Tip a Rotating Cube?
Homework Statement [FONT=Arial]A solid cube of wood with side 2a and mass M is resting on a horizontal surface. The cube is constraint to rotate about a fixed axis AB. A bullet of mass m and speed v is shot at the face opposite ABCD at a height of 4a/3. The bullet becomes embedded in the cube...- MickeyGoh
