Measurement of speed using redshift or blueshift
When the train coming towards me, the wavelength of sound is shorter (higher frequency) but when the train moves away from me it's wavelength is longer (low frequency) The star's H lines is at a shorter wavelength than observed in the laboratory (low frequency is observed), that means the star...- mugen715

Measurement of speed using redshift or blueshift
The solution on my textbook is 13000m/s toward Earth as the light is blue-shifted I'm able to calculate the magnitude of velocity (13000m/s), but i don't understand why thus is blue-shifted? Since in the lab, the light's wavelength observed is slightly higher than light from Ursa Majoris. So my...- mugen715

Newton's third law a book and table
Homework Statement Newton's third law of motion is often summarised as 'Every action (force) has an equal and opposite reaction'. A book rests on a table. If the weight of the book is the 'action' force, what is the 'reaction' force? A the pull of the book on the Earth B the pull of...- mugen715

How Is Binding Energy Calculated in Nuclear Reactions?
Thank for your reply. Is it true to explain this way, the total energy required to form helium is 28.28MeV meanwhile 17.7mev will be release from the 28.28mev..is this correct?- mugen715

Number of moles of hydrogen gas in the cylinder
Homework Statement A gas cylinder contains 4.00 x 10^4 cm^3 of hydrogen at a pressure of 2.50 x 10^7 Pa and a temperature of 290 K. The cylinder is to be used to fill balloons. Each balloon, when filled, contains 7.24 x 10^3 cm^3 of hydrogen at a pressure of 1.85 x 10^5 Pa and a temperature...- mugen715
