Inverse of Exponential Equations
I'm still confused as I've never done a question to this extent before, so it's still a relatively new concept to understand. If I take the Log base 4 route I end up with this: (x-1) = Log(4)((y-2)/3) X-1 = -3Log(4)(Y-2) Is this correct or am I missing something? and if that's correct, where...- Murdoc88

Inverse of Exponential Equations
Also inside the brackets it is suppose to be 4^(x-1). I'm still new with the Latex coding- Murdoc88

Inverse of Exponential Equations
Alright, I'm just going through my older tests in preparation for my upcoming exams and I have come across a question regarding exponents and inverses. Homework Statement The original equation is: h(x) = 3(4^{(x-1)})+2 and I must find the inverse in order to proceed with the...- Murdoc88

Determine the velocity of a hardball after it has been thrown
It's an older lab, ( we did it in class for practice) its just for review but I really want to do this because we have a lab similar to this coming up on Tuesday.- Murdoc88

Determine the velocity of a hardball after it has been thrown
I found the kinetic force using a Newton scale or whatever it is called. The 7 N of friction isn't of the box moving, its just the force of the box just slidingind on the table. Therefore I don't know the force of the box moving away when it is hit with the ball. All I know that it has a...- Murdoc88

Determine the velocity of a hardball after it has been thrown
Problem and Given Information I must determine the velocity of a hardball after it has been thrown into a box of paper and then I measure that the distance the box moved back. The Law of Conservation of Momentum (and other physics principles) will be employed to do this. When the ball is...- Murdoc88

How Fast Does the Diagonal of a Cube Change with Its Side Length?
I seem to possesses that skill with these problems .. early today I proved that 0 = -37 hahaha ... oh i hate when I forget that sqrt can be negative. No it's alright, I have solved the problem on my own .. thank you so much though!- Murdoc88

How Fast Does the Diagonal of a Cube Change with Its Side Length?
Well I didn't have dD/dt=6x*(dx/dt) because I had differentiated incorrectly I believe. My final equation should be: (dD/dt) = (3x)/(\sqrt(3x^2))*(dx/dt)- Murdoc88
