I What happens to the temperature of a superconductor?

Above are the actual results from flux software. Kindly ignore results from Type II(the model implemented is not correct)

I What happens to the temperature of a superconductor?

Absolutely, the switching point differs. Now, what about the thermodynamic cycle, assuming adiabatic process.

I What happens to the temperature of a superconductor?

The figure is just for illustration. Yes, it should be asymmetric when the superconductor is in superconducting state and symmetric when it is not. Also the ends would flatten. One can obtain these results from any commercial software, I used flux software. The point is that the net area in...

I What happens to the temperature of a superconductor?

Consider the following setup: Stationary magnet and Superconductor are fixed and Moving magnet is allowed to move freely in the horizontal direction. Assume the superconductor as Type I superconductor. Following figure shows the Horizontal Force acting on Moving Magnet vs Distance curve...

Temperature of a Solar panel in space

Can you please explain it a little elaborately in terms of entropy?

Temperature of a Solar panel in space

If so, Can we say that photovoltaic cell is a device which reduces its temperature and does useful work on surroundings when it is operating?

Temperature of a Solar panel in space

I think that the power consumed at the load converts into heat and so the temperature of load slab increases. Coming to pv slab, net power received is reduced due to diversion of some solar power to load power and so the temperature of pv slab decreases. Am I correct?

Temperature of a Solar panel in space

Consider two 1 square meter marble slabs each of mass 1 kg floating in space facing the sun such that light from the sun incident perpendicularly on the flat faces. At equilibrium, power received from the sun 'PS' equals the power being lost in the form of radiation 'PR'. PS = PR (at...
