Could the centripetal acceleration and tension be equal in a two-string system?
Sorry, I took some time off to have a fresh start. I don't think that both string have the same tension since one have to support the mass of the ball. We know the verticals forces have to be equal since it make a equilateral triangle. The ball is at 60 degree So T=tension upper string...- None_of_the

Could the centripetal acceleration and tension be equal in a two-string system?
Hi, please see the drawing I ' m not good with words. If both string have the same lenght, will they have the same tension ? I guess the answer is yes, they share the same centripetal acceleration, and they have the same lenght. The tension will be the same because they share too the...- None_of_the

What is the final speed and angle of a ball hit by a baseball bat at 45 degrees?
Hmm any ideas how to solve ? I don't understand Andrew, there are some exemples like this one in my book, but they give the final speed and the initial speed ( the momentum is to find). What is the difference ?- None_of_the

What is the final speed and angle of a ball hit by a baseball bat at 45 degrees?
Hi, Sorry for another momentum question I want to be sure. Homework Statement A ball who is coming at 180 degree is hit by a baseball bat at 45 degree in the opposite direction. The final speed of the ball and the angle is unknown and this is want we search. N*S=kg *m/s I=5 N*S= 5...- None_of_the
