Graduate How can we say there is Zero G force in space what about SUN's G ?
ok... planets revolve around sun (Why planets Revolve around sun why not fall towards sun?)... But the rock doesn't revolve and it should fall towards the sun ... ? ------------->it (earth) will fall toward the sun but that's a long time from now - obing

Undergrad Solving 4th Degree Equation: √x+y=7, √y+x=11
thanks guys :) ive found a way out if we take x= l2 and y=n2 then √l2 +y= 7 (√x+y=7) √n2+x =11 (√y+x=11) which becomes l2+y-7=0 (getting rid of root) n2+x-11=0 2 quadratic equn. :) ans sloving it gives...- obing

Undergrad Solving 4th Degree Equation: √x+y=7, √y+x=11
√x+y=7 √y+x=11 solving this equation using x=-b√b2-4ac/2a for finding the root is impossible the equation turns out to be of 4th degree or two quadratic eq. can anybody help this isn't a homework , just wanted to know ...;)- obing

Graduate Light some interesting questions and an observation
Why does it travel in a particular direction and what determines this ? consider a light source in a universe and a planet 1/2 ly behind it then the direction of light wrt planet can be determined by cartesian 2d graph (basic) relative to any object other objects direction.speed can... -

Graduate Light some interesting questions and an observation
for you first question :- speed is a scalar quantities so direction of light at a small displacement~~ acceleration can be ignored (pointless) this should be valid for stationary and for body absorbing light " read black body radiation" (for extra coverage) as per Albert. e...
