Position of elevator given velocity vs time
Well I am a beginning physics student, so the following may not be correct. Since this is a velocity versus time graph, the slope is going to give you acceleration. That means you know initial velocity, final velocity, time, and acceleration. If I were solving this, I would plug that information...- Penguin'15

Time is given in the problem as 3.00s. The speed of sound is minimal, and not much use until I know how far the rock actually traveled. How can I use this time to find the x-displacement and/or inital velocity in the x direction?- Penguin'15
