Hello,
My professor wants us to code a program that encrypts a massage and decrypt it , I know that to encrypt something you need a message and a key, and you assign a number to each letter or the message, and you do the same with the key, and then you add the two numbers together to get...
Homework Statement
use lim as x__>0 (sin(x))/(x) to evaluate the following : lim (x^(2) cot(x) + sin(x/2) - cos(x) + 1)/(x) as x__>0
The Attempt at a Solution
1- lim as x__>0 (x^(2) cot(x))/ (x)= x cotx = x (cosx)/(sinx)= (x/sinx) cosx = 1.1=1
And I think I can use L'Hospital's...
Homework Statement
g(x)=(In(x-5)/In(x-5))+sqrt(10-x). Find Dom(f) and Range(f).
and sqrt(10-x) is decreasing.
The Attempt at a Solution
x-5=0
x=5.
10-x>=0
10>=x.
so The dom(f), I think, is (-infinity,5)U(5,10].
now the range, the equation should look like this after cancelling...
Although I have studied pre-calculus a year and half ago in a different language, now I am about to start learning calculus and this question came to my mind, what should I do? learn pre-calculus or start calculus first.
And thanks for your reply, I really enjoy being advised.
Hi Everyone,
I have a question regarding CALCULUS.
Is it better to start learning calculus from precalculus or calculus, say in general? When I mentioned calculus, I meant Calculus written by Spivak or Courant, which I think starts off with basic concepts leading to advanced ones.
Any...
If you want to check the curicculum out for both universites, there are listed here in the two links.
This is Toronto's: http://www.prospective.engineering.utoronto.ca/skule/firstyear/engsci.htm
This is Carleton's:

For me, I prefer...
If you are looking for reputation, I guess Toronto has a good international reputation; nevertheless, Toronto includes two years of engineering science before you start aerospace engineering program which is kinda a mixed major.
However, Carleton doesn’t make it complicated and doesn’t require...
Hi,
I have posted a thread like this a few weeks ago, but no one responds to me because I am, too, torn between Toronto and Carleton.
So, do you have any information about the two?
I mean have you talked to someone studying there?
Phillipe
I have put a thread similar to this one, but no one respond to me.
And I am torn between two universities which are Toronto and Carleton, so if you have any info about one of them, i will be happy to hear.
Hi everyone,
I am in need for a worthwhile recommendation.
I am in Canada and crave to studying aerospace engineering (it is silly that in Canada we just have three universities teach undergrad aerospace engineering), so what do you thing about University of Toronto considering the first two...
