Whoops, I actually agreed with you on this in page 2 of this thread. :bugeye: Now I got to change my mind. Why you ask? well...You ever hear of the Uncertainty Principle theorized by Professor Werner Heisenberg? Ever hear his famous statement in which Einstein himself was forced to...
Errr no. The skater can begin slowly moving (although limitedly) by simply leaning forwards with the help of his arms outwards infront of his torso (shifting his weight forward). One also needs to use his knees to spring forwards in order to generate forwards momentum.
He would however need...
PMSL! Noooo no no no. All the skater needs to do in order to push forwards (with parallel skates) is to lean forwards (putting his weight forwards) whilst tipping his skates forward also. The same concept goes with roller blades as I am a roller blader. :uhh:
You can even accomplish forwards...
I think Bohm's Implicate Order Theory might have an explanation to this (Maybe just maybe). Kind of like a Unification theory of the Universe and consciousness. Very hard to find credible sources though but I'm still optimistic that it's all possible
This one?

You have to subscribe though to get the full paper.
Bohm says that such interaction within subatomic particles is not just faster than light, but goes even further and says the interaction is simultaneous. That means the time delay is zero (no time delay). He points this out with his "Implicate Order" theory and says he derives it from the idea...
Heh, don't worry..not condescending at all. I consider myself a learner and a non-expert anyways. But I seen that site and let me show you something I found in it (down below)
While nanotechnology has made great advances in the last two decades, it has yet to fulfill its ultimate potential...
Pffff... pmsl...the U.S. government will just omit reports that aren't consistent with the official story from mainstream media sources. That's how propaganda works. The government uses the mainstream media and will only pay "experts" to say things that agree with the official story. :rolleyes...
Ehhh that's bcos I am an Einstein fanboy.
Einstein saying something does not make it true all the time... but you said "who cares what Einstein thinks". Does that mean you were implying that he is often wrong, since what he usually thinks is not worth caring for? o.O eh? :uhh:
All your points ( #2, #3, #4 ) are good and I probably won't argue with that.
The first one however is your opinion but I don't think everyone can agree with you. EINSTEIN is the father of Special Relativity. Are you saying we should not care about Special Relativity? o.O Are you smarter than...
It might be incompatible with our limited understanding of science. But who's to say that all of science (I'm referring to all the unexplored areas of science) has been explored? Isn't the mindset of an explorer the best attitude for scientists, no? Or should scientist remain closeminded and...
