Positioning of a concave mirror
Thank you aresnick it did help me out a bit. what if you had to use only concave and convex lenses and mirrors to create the tightly focused spot? when i drew a set up of a light, then a convex lens, then a concave mirror the mirror relfects the light back towards the lens, so would that mean i...- pmmiller14

High School Convex Lens and Light Refraction
apologies on the description. what it was meant to say is that if rays of light are straight before they go through a convex lens would it come out straight or will the light be refracted and bent to make a point? the other one is if the light was already bent to create a point would it come out...- pmmiller14

High School Convex Lens and Light Refraction
Hi all, if light was to go straight through a convex lens would it come out straight or inverted to a point? also if light was to go through the same lens but goes through going inwards how would the light be refracted?- pmmiller14

High School What makes tennis loud popping sound?
try hitting different types of balls. try for example a shutle coff it still makes the popping sound but at a different frequency. it has to do with the weight of the object that has been foced into the strings on the racket. it is basically a sum up of the other people replying to this but i...- pmmiller14

Positioning of a concave mirror
lenses and mirrors?? hi all, i was wondering what would happen if a convex lens and a concave mirror were set up one after another, the convex len being first to receive the light. how would this work in spot lights? i don't see howa spot light can have a tightly focused spot on a stage, i...- pmmiller14

High School Create a Stage-Ready Lantern: Step-by-Step Guide with Available Parts
I am really stuck on what to do. "The completed lantern needs to produce a tightly focussed spot of light on a stage, it is positioned 12m horizontally away from it and 5m above it. It also has to fit a box that is 30cm long" Parts avaliable: light bulbs light bulb holders wiring...- pmmiller14
